National League of American Pen Women
Welcome to the home of American Pen Women, the oldest arts organization for women in the United States with 135 branches throughout the country. Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators
Founded in 1971 by a group of Los Angeles-based children’s writers, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators is one of the largest existing organizations for writers and illustrators. It is the only professional organization specifically for those individuals working in the fields of children’s literature, magazines, film, television, and multimedia. Several of the most prestigious children’s literature professionals sit on the SCBWI Board of Advisors.

The Haiku Society of America is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1968 by Harold G. Henderson and Leroy Kanterman to promote the writing and appreciation of haiku in English. Membership is open to all readers, writers, and students of haiku.
The Cape Cod Ski Club was formed in 1978 by a group of skiing and boarding enthusiasts. There are now 550 members! Members range in age from 21 to 80+. Although most members live on or near Cape Cod, some members live as far away as Arizona and Florida!
National Association of Professional Women (NAPW)
The National Association of Professional Women is an exclusive network for professional women to interact, exchange ideas, educate, network, and empower. NAPW members enjoy a wealth of resources and services dedicated to the enhancement, empowerment and promotion of their careers.
We meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in West Falmouth, MA. We critique each other’s work, exchange ideas, and provide inspiration. All of our writers are actively dedicated to improving their craft.
The goals of the Cape Cod Writers web page is to make the task of finding writing or publishing information easier. Why? Because the question is asked of me almost daily. Where can I find an editor? Could you read my story? Do you know an illustrator for my children’s book? And dozens of other writing, publishing and getting started questions.
